If you follow the food scene you will know that Danny Malin from Danny vs Food does not hand out praise lightly. So when he called our Butter Chicken Taco “tremendous” and gave it a solid 10 out of 10, you will understand why we nearly lost it right there at the van.
How It Happened
We were at the Wakefield Mela earlier this month, one of the best community events in the calendar, when Danny stopped by. He had been at the Mela promoting Holy Hydration and supporting the event, and our name caught his attention. Once we explained the concept behind Tikka Tacos, proper Indian flavours wrapped in a taco, he was intrigued and wanted to try one.
We were absolutely mowed out with customers (Mela crowd, you know how it is!) so we managed to get one thing in front of him: our Butter Chicken Taco.
He came back to the van a short time later. “Tremendous,” he said. “Solid 10 out of 10.”
We will take that all day long!
